What about developing our female players, what happens with girls?

Our numbers of female players is growing, but there are less, and therefore less that are looking at our development pathway. These lower numbers mean that often the best option is for them to work in a mixed environment, one grade lower (which they are allowed to do).

Even if you do have a ‘squad’ of girls that all want to be part of the Academy, we have good evidence that playing in a mixed league is better for their development. Overall decisions are made on the 4 corner model.
