Womens and Girls Have-a-go Day at Fred Taylor Park

22 Mar

New Zealand Football Girls and Women’s Month is designed to introduce girls and women to #Football - with the aim that more people in our country try and ultimately choose to play our sport.

With the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 - which will be jointly hosted between Australia and New Zealand - not all that far away, now is the perfect time to fall in love with 'the beautiful game'.

As part of this month long event, the #WestCoastRangers #OpenDay is this Sunday, 28th March at Fred Taylor Park. If you want to give football a try, this is the day for you. 'Have-a-go' sessions catering for Women and Girls of all ages and abilities will run from 11am-12pm, and after that we want as many people as possible to stick around, enjoy the hospitality of the club and watch our NRF Championship Women's team who will be playing a home game from 1pm.

New and existing #WCR players can regsiter with the club on the day, and you could be in to win a bunch of brand new #WCR merchandise in our photo booth competition.
