In reality the current Club’s exist in a very challenging financial state. They operate based on a huge amount of volunteer time and effort contracting the minimum of paid staff. Costs are growing and membership fees alone do not cover them - we rely on a mix of fees, sponsorships and grants to operate.
This amalgamation will allow us to combine some resources and ensure we have a supportive management structure, employing people to put our plan in action, and to support our myriad of volunteers.
The founding clubs were operated as "not-for-profit" organisations under and incorporated society structure, and the new club will be exactly the same.
